JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse Clinical Leader

LOCATION: Geisinger Community Medical Center

WORK SCHEDULE: Evenings/Nights; Every other weekend/holiday rotation

WORK TYPE: Full Time (.9 FTE) - 72 Hours Bi-Weekly; 40W Overtime

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Leader is a professional registered nurse who assumes responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and operations of an assigned unit,

as well as clinical responsibility for the delivery of patient care. Serves as a role model for professional practice and directs patient flow activity to

maintain consistency in patient care. Assists the department Manager/Director in the appropriate utilization of material, financial and

human resources in the assigned unit.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Education: Registered Nurse with current, unrestricted Pennsylvania license.

Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Current BLS and ACLS Healthcare provider.

Experience: Minimum two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting.

GEISINGER-COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER (G-CMC), Scranton, Pa., is an acute care hospital licensed for 297 beds and houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Lackawanna County and Scranton’s only neurosurgery program and adult in-patient behavioral health unit.
