Geisinger Breast Imaging Radiologist No Call No Weekends Robust Incentives and Comp Package in Lewistown, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking a breast imaging fellowship trained radiologist (BE/BC) or experienced breast radiologist to join the team. What our Breast Imaging/Radiology team has to offer: • 100% breast imaging or mixed practice • BE/BC Radiologist (fellowship trained and/or breast imaging experience), part of an overall team of 90 radiologists • Comprehensive breast health program to include onsite radiologists, pathologists, breast and plastic surgeons, psychologists, geneticists, nurse navigators and high-risk clinic • ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence • Array of imaging to include 3D HD technology screening and diagnostic exams and multi modality breast intervention such as upright tomographic, ultrasound and MRI guided biopsies • Contrast enhanced mammography will be the newest addition to our comprehensive services • Opportunity to teach our residents and medical school students • Research opportunities for those interested including clinical trials

ABOUT GEISINGER LEWISTOWN HOSPITAL (GLH): is a 123-bed acute care community hospital serving the 80,000 residents of Mifflin and Juniata counties and members of the contiguous counties of Centre, Perry, Snyder and Huntingdon. Established in 1905, the hospital provides inpatient, outpatient, wellness and community services while employing over 1,000 full-time and part-time employees and providing a Medical Staff consisting of more than 150 physicians and allied health practitioners representing specialties ranging from family medicine, internal medicine and cardiology to infectious disease and general/cardiovascular surgery.
