Job Summary :
Analyzes and responds to user requested new development and system modifications. Designs technical solutions to information problems. With occasional assistance from Technical Analyst - Lead, develops project plans and estimates. Performs technical tasks related to project completion, including problem analysis, program development and testing, documentation, and implementation. Functions as the primary IT user contact for GHS departments or divisions. Performs project management and coordination functions.
Works under the supervision of a Director, Program Director or management designate
Competencies and Skills:
Within End User Computing the Analyst will support and maintain key infrastructure systems and platforms such as Managed Print Services/Printer Environment and User Experience Monitoring Tools.
Analyst will be part of an enterprise problem swarming team that will be dispatched onsite to analyze and identify critical/high impact problems and work with subject matter experts on problem mitigation and ultimately root cause analysis.
Through proper EUC Service Management, analyst will assist with maintaining supported EUC owned assets (Desktops, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Printers, Peripherals, Displays, etc.) and developing hardware standards.
Analyst will be work in conjunction with Architects and Engineers to design, develop and support new end user computing environments and enhancing current experiences.
Provide issue resolution to advanced end-user related problems as part of a Tier 3 support team.
Demonstrates ability to perform a needs analysis, workflow redesign and process reengineering.
Demonstrated the ability to be a good team player yet able to organize daily tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated the ability to be customer service oriented with a courteous and pleasant demeanor and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Education and or Experience:
Associate's degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; or technical diploma / technical certification in a field related to the position required. Minimum of six years of full time experience in a related information technology/application/user support role required.
In lieu of degree or certification, minimum of nine years of full time experience in a related information technology/application/user support role required.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Potential candidate must have the ability to move PCs and peripheral equipment that may exceed 50lbs.
