JOB TITLE: Clinical Trial Financial Manager

Responsible for the financial planning and management of all clinical trials supported by Clinical Research Resources (CRR). Works independently as the financial manager by providing proactive financial support including clinical trial performance analyses and operational/strategic financial analysis for effective and efficient financial operations of CRR managed studies. Provides financial reporting and analysis to enable the trial investigator or designee to make timely, informed, and financially sound decisions. Provides clinical trial billing and revenue management support across the system. Responsibilities will also include project planning, team management, and project tracking.
Reports to Senior Director, Clinical Research and Operations or designee.

Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to interface with all levels of management.
Demonstrate ability to evaluate and make sound decisions.
Demonstrate leadership ability in project management, as well as daily operations.
Demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking, problem solving and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Adhere to timelines.
Demonstrate computer skills including database and analytical software programs, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience in revenue cycle and clinical research finance is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience with financial components of a Clinical Trial Management System
Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or other business-related field and minimum four years of experience in financial management, research or project management required. Experience in healthcare preferred.
Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Working is typically performed in an office environment.
Travel to affiliate sites and external sponsor/organization meetings, as required.
